Biography

Designer Ian Batten worked at the Royal Opera house as a dresser during his days at Hornsey Art College in London. Going on to work alongside some of British fashions most celebrated names as a designer of both men’s and womenswear, the Ian Batten label was established in 1992, his clothes relaxed and ageless in style.

Batten was invited to create a line of womenswear for the celebrated Livingstone Studio in 2008. The long-established, textile design studio with adjoining gallery, specialises in exquisitely crafted clothing, textiles and interior products from around the world.
