Designer Ian Batten worked at the Royal Opera house as a dresser during his days at Hornsey Art College in London. Going on to work alongside some of British fashions most celebrated names as a designer of both men’s and womenswear, the Ian Batten label was established in 1992, his clothes relaxed and ageless in style.

Matthew Murphy and Kirk Beattie began their partnership in 2001; their latest venture OTHER is London's premier space for contemporary design, art and fashion. Batten has been creating a capsule collection for the boys since 2006.
